MARTIN COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL
January 2014 - Martin County Arts Council has graciously donated $500 to the South Creek High School Art Department to help pay for supplies. These funds are going to go towards materials to help introduce students to the world of art and fund arts education. We at the high school thank the Arts Council for their generous contribution.
Corey Baker
Corey Baker is a local ceramicist currently located in Williamston, NC. With her strong background in ceramics and love of the arts, she has generously donated her time, advice, and valuable information regarding ceramics in the South Creek High School Art Department. We thank her for her support and wish her the best in her future artistic endeavors.
ECU Ceramic Department
Seo Eo, on behalf of East Carolina University's Ceramics Department, has graciously donated the plaster necessary to create wedging tables for the South Creek High School ceramic program. The Area Coordinator for ECU Ceramics, Seo Eo, remains a renowned artist having earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from Utah State University in 1991 and a Master of Fine Art from Indiana University in 1996. The South Creek High School Art Department thanks the ECU School of Art and Design Ceramic Department for their generous donation and looks to create inspiring works of art in the future. Phyllis Respis, a previous art teacher of Roanoke High School, generously donated her time and ceramic expertise to the South Creek High School Art Department. We greatly appreciate her wealth of knowledge and look to create beautiful works of art armed with this new information.

Bailey Phelps, an artist of the Martin County area, graciously donated his time to judge the art contest at South Creek High School's "Night of the Arts." His judgement created a sense of pride and accomplishment to the budding artists of SCHS.
